Annual Communication of the District Grand Lodge of Bombay- 10 Oct 2020

Due to the ongoing pandemic and various restrictions laid down by the Government, the Annual
Communication / Investiture of the District Grand Lodge of Bombay which was held on 10th October
2020 at Mumbai was a very low-key affair.
The attendance was restricted to bare minimum and all protocols were followed by the attendees
including maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks, guidelines as laid down by the United Grand
Lodge of England as well as protocols notified by the Government.

RWBro. Percy Driver, District Grand Master for the District Grand Lodge of Bombay opened the District
Grand Lodge along with the Deputy and Assistant District Grand Masters and other District officers.

After completing the administrative items on the agenda, newly appointed officers were invested and
installed to their respective offices primary among which were the appointments of WBro. Devesh
Hingorani as the Deputy District Grand Master and WBro. R Vishwa Mohan as the Assistant District
Grand Master.

The District congratulates all officers on their preferment.

An extension of the Annual Communication by way of a Virtual meeting was held on the 17th of
October 2020 wherein the video recording of the District Grand Master’s address was played for the
benefit of all members of the District who could not physically attend the Annual Communication
which was held on the 10th of October 2020. This initiative by the District was highly appreciated by
the members. The Virtual meeting was also attended by District and Provincial Grand Masters of other
English Districts / Provinces in India, Sri Lanka, England and Eastern Archipelago as well as District
Grand Master of the Scottish Constitution in India and the Provincial Grand Master of Ireland in India.
